Snow Bases for Dol Guldur
Since I started to like basing, I became interested in the sheer endless ways of how to do it in different ways and styles. I like Winter and I like snow, so after some time I became intrigued by the idea of doing snow bases. My motivation grew when I did some research and found out that it is actually not very complicated to achieve good results. This is the video I drew inspiration from and which also highlights two other possible ways on how to do snow basing: So the question was only - which miniatures should receive the snow treatment? Numenor already had have of the bases pre-printed and the other half already done with stones and grasslands. But my other army was very fitting - Dol Guldur. Even though the fortress is not that far in the North, to make you instantly think on snow, the design fits in with spirits and ghosts who spread their dark presence and give you shivers.
