Castellan of the Ring

It is done - my first 40k miniatures are finished! =D I chose the Kataphron Destroyers as my first ones because they seemed relatively simple to do and where bigger than the Scitarri and not so detailed as the Dominus. It was really a joy to assemble and paint them up. Planning to have a good contrast, I again chose to do snow bases and will stick to it for my AdMech project. I am super happy with the results and received already positive feedback. Enjoy the images ;) The Castellan keeps his watch and happy hobbying until the next time =)

  This time only a small painting update. I finished Khamul on foot and horse. It was very relaxing to paint a bit easier model without that many details. I was able to keep up the lookup of my desired color scheme as well as my Tundra basing. Here the  images to enjoy ;) Next up is what i postponed for a longer time: Working on the main bulk of the Easterling force. The Castellan keeps his watch and happy hobbying until the next time =)

 Less then a week to go till the Warhammerfest, where MESBG officially has a slot for announcements! There were no whatsoever official clues what the news will be - if its the long awaited info about the next expansion or just some smaller stuff like non-connected miniature releases. But I am hyped and motivated AND I think we will hear about the "Last Alliance" as the next expansion ;) I already had some thoughts about the content of such an expansion and thought about a possible extension of the Numenor faction. But since then, I learned a lot and played even more often. I feel more experienced and a bit more grounded regarding new profiles. So I set down and worked on some profiles I would like to see + their values, costs and usage.
