Castellan of the Ring

I did not note down the exact day but around January 2021 I started to actively collect, paint and play MESBG after a prelude beginning in December 2020, when I actually bought the starter box for my girlfriend. A lot has happened since then and I thought it would be a good opportunity to write down all the positive experiences and developments I was able to have through this wonderful hobby =) One year of MESBG Reclaiming  enthusiasm for an old friend I read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings as a teenager, right after seeing the first movie in cinema. Gestern habe ich mich wieder mit einem alten Freund von der FH getroffen um ein paar Matches MESBG in der Game Area von SirenGames in Wien zu spielen. Eines davon war zwischen meiner Dol Guldur Armee versus seiner Isengart Streitmacht. Aufbau Ich spielte wieder meine Aufstieg des Nekromanten Legendäre Legion - falls ihr euch erinnert, habe ich sie bereits beim letzten Mal eingesetzt und da gegen die LL Die Rückkehr des Königs,  dabei aber vereinfachte Regeln verwendet und ich wurde leicht besiegt. Dieses Mal spielten wir mit allen Regeln und mit einem höheren Punktelimit. Unser Punktelimit war dieses Mal ungefähr 800 Punkte, wir spielten Szenario 9 aus dem Regelbuch (Erobern und Kontrollieren). Today I met again with my old university friend to play some MESBG in the game area of SirenGames Vienna. One of these matches was my Dol Guldur army versus his Isengard force. Setup I played again my Rise of the Necromancer legendary legion - if you remember last time I already used it against my friends Return of the King LL but we used simplified rules and I was easily beaten. This time we played by all available rules and with a higher point limit. Our point limit was roughly 800 points and we played scenario 9 from the rule book (Conquest & Control? Sorry I have it only in German and am not sure how its named in English).
